HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Happy Chinese New Year is here. So it also mean the time of celebrating prosperity and family (trying not to include angpow), also welcoming the year of the horse, hoping that it would give good luck for everyone.

And this time, my aunt and uncle from KL will be coming to celebrate, but they will stay until the 2nd day of CNY to go back to celebrate with the other side of the family.

With the usual chinese tradition food served during reunion dinner, this time, my uncle will be cooking for the whole family and it should be interesting to try his cooking. And he will be cooking Spanish food, seafood style. Interesting.

Not to mention, it's the time to distance myself from assignments and projects for the time being, but I already done as much assignment and project as I can do that when I return back to college won't stress me out to hectically trying to complete it. Especially my Motion Graphic Design first project.

For dinner well surprise, my uncle is cooking for the family, and it's seafood type Spanish food, which I have no idea how to pronounce nor spell it so yeah, but it was good, my uncle is a surprising good cook

I get to try my real first taste of wine, from the two different types of wine, the white wine and the red wine which my mother brought, she brought 2 types of red wine and 1 white wine, and I was like "What the heck?" tries it anyways.

The first red wine was too strong for me to try it out to be honest, I can't swallow it down without feeling the burning sensation down my throat. I got my first try on white wine as well, and I honestly didn't like it at all, it has that weird taste to it so it's a pass.

My little sister though... enjoys sipping the red wine, she keeps taking it over and over and over without even stopping, that really got me surprised to be very honest. While I try not to make myself into a drunk adult I took small and slow sips down my throat.

The second wine which my mother brought wasn't so strong and I like that one in which she brought, the alcohol isn't so strong and I love sipping to it.

Sometimes it's good to have a little wine in your life to get yourself lose. My sister on the other hand, drink after drink after drink I'm not surprised at all that she got herself a little drunk, I mean it's pretty obvious that she can't walk properly.

In short, it's a good Chinese New Year, although a little disappointed of the lack of red packets. (LOL). It's good to spent time with the family.

Stress, stress and more stress.

I may have a 5-6 day off from college due to the festive season but it didn't help the fact that I have overloading assignments and then there's my first project for Motion Graphic Design due on Valentine's Day, I admit it's a challenge for me to do something that I've never done before despite I'm looking forward to this subject. The question is whether I can accomplish it, that's a different story. Although I'm really trying my best not to procrastinate or waste time, trying to do the easy assignments first then on to the hard ones.

Just the 3rd week and I'm already struggling, life in TOA never change I guess, that's the thing with TOA after already 3 years studying there, they expect you to finish the work given to you without any excuses meet the dateline and that's it.

I need all the support I can get. I need time. I need a miracle.

Chinese New Year is coming.

It's amazing just how last December a.k.a last year is just waiting for Christmas to arrive and now that January is here already that Chinese New Year is approaching, as much as I look forward to this celebration along with the fact that my aunt and uncle are coming for Chinese New Year, everything is going to be busy busy busy.

The best part is I get 5-6 days off from college because of the festive season which is good I needed a break, although January has a lot of public holidays plus with the replacement class to replace the holidays which has class on.

Hopefully I have a good time celebrating with the family, plus the surprising thing that I'll be looking forward this Chinese New Year is the fact that my uncle will be cooking for the whole family. I'm so looking forward to his cooking.

Release some stress time to have some fun fun fun

There's a time after all that stress you need to find time to relax and just clear your thoughts, just forget everything for a moment, no assignments, no projects, no need to deal with group project as well, even if your time is so tight that you can't do anything like watch a movie....,

Well today I managed to find time, during Thaipusam on Friday to play some badminton which I haven't been playing for a long time, the only time I played badminton was in high school during PE lessons, and I can honestly say after that long not playing I'm rusty at it.

So today, me and a group of friends manage to go to the park under the warm morning sun and the cool breezy wind to sweat it out and play some badminton to clear our thoughts, and it was fun I could say that. Then again, if only we can do it more often.

Also, after that we went to pick up a friend and then we all hang out in my other friend's apartment which was located not too far away from my Granny's house. Dipping ourselves in the pool because the pool is cool, although I only dipped my feet since I don't have proper attire and plus I got my monthly thing going on.

We went insane singing Disney songs, in fact the whole day we're singing Disney songs at the pool, in the house, even in the car, and in the mall, yes we're that crazy bunch of psychos. Also not forgetting we also made some Free! jokes while swimming because it's relevant obviously.

Look how derp we are lolol!

I'm hoping that we should do this more often though I had a good laugh and a great time today. Maybe next time in the near future.

New Year, New Semester, another battlefield

So already 2014 has already arrived and as usual I'm here to talk about what seems to be a thousand times I said it before, college. I know that my stories of my life in college is endlessly boring you readers, but I can't help it. most of my time I spent everyday is just attending classes, and then doing my assignments, there's no such thing as fun time, even if I want to read a book is difficult, as I promised myself that I won't procrastinate to abandon my assignments just to do something else, like Tumblring for example because that website is a real procrastinating cause for most people.

And since I'm already sitting for my Final Year which is so fast and did not see this coming, I have to go through another 2 more semesters excluding the one I'm sitting right now, I hear from people that final year is going to be very tough assignments and projects are harder than before and also dealing the one thing I hate most anything in the world, group work.

I had to deal with a lot of drama last year because of the certain person in my group and till today I still feel like she's a bit of an annoying kind of person in everyway, the worst part is that she also joining me due to the fact that I fail a subject the last time that cause me... right now, join the juniors.

I still say that she's not a good group member, always pushing me to do what I have to do, but I guess karma got me back again because in another subject which requires group work she's IN MY GROUP AGAIN. Sigh, what do I have to deserve this?

Still if it wasn't for that lecturer who failed me I would have gone through my last semester and then graduation.

Okay, now I'm ranting and I should probably stop now it's no use complaining since it has already happened. Till next time I suppose.
