Semester Break is almost here!

It’s already Week 13 for my college 2nd semester of the year, this year and all hell is about to break loose for me. I mean there’s a lot of stuff needed to be DONE! Not to mention, next week is already my final Week which is Week 14 and hello Semester Break.
But there’s good news and bad news regarding this matter, GOOD NEWS : Is I get to enjoy my semester break, continue writing my stories again, downloading TV series (thinking of wanting to watch Gossip Girl), reading stories and books and of course, relax. The BAD NEWS is: Final Project, Final Project, Final Project. That’s all there is. Seriously this college is giving me lots of headache every time and every single minute, and it’s not going to cut me some slack AT ALL. Now, this gets me worried on how am I going to survive my 3rd and final year in The One Academy, LORD HELP ME TO SURVIVE THIS!
But during my 4 months in this 2nd semester, the hardest subject I’ve encountered is definitely, Digital Media 1 a.k.a Flash Animation. 1. The assignments are pain-in-the-ass, legit. The home assignments are hard not to mention the marks I get from the lecturer is below average. KILL ME. 2. The final project is legit top of the list as pain-in-the-ass I mean, it’s time consuming, not to mention, that I have to rush my time to meet the dateline and produce it to my lecturer. Such a killer! But thankfully, I survived. My classmates….. not so lucky.
I’m hoping that I won’t fail this subject, because if I fail, I can’t proceed to Digital Media 2 and I can’t retake this subject for the next 8 months, that’s like 8 months in jail for this subject. Sigh. This college is so cruel. But I can’t keep my hopes to high though, because chances of me surviving this subject is just 50/50 I can just feel it.
I sure hope I survive this semester without any problems.

NEW PHONE!

Ugh! Talk about outdated update. Whatever, let’s get on with it.
I got a new phone! The best part is, it’s a smartphone!
I present you, my Samsung Galaxy Y!
Actually I wanted to get Samsung Galaxy S2 my dream phone. And I thought that the Y would be very tiny for my grip, but it’s not as small as I expected it to be, and that’s the good news about it, it’s almost the same size as the Samsung Mini which my mum has, the only difference is the screen is smaller than the Mini.
But I am satisfied with this phone, now I can install Facebook, Twitter apps and also finally sign up to Instagram and post pictures! Yay!
But I’m afraid of installing or downloading too much apps which will affect the space of my phone, so I need to limit myself not to download too many apps.
Currently, I am very happy of obtaining this phone, the disadvantage is the battery consuming is bit too much. Phone vibration consumes a lot of battery, playing games consuming battery, and accessing internet using WiFi (that one I’m not complaining because I know that WiFi takes a lot of battery.
I mean I know obtaining a smartphone will distract me to access internet on my phone, but I seriously need to control myself not too over use my phone battery ( I don’t want to charge my phone over and over again, every time it’s low battery.
Well, that’s all I’m going to say about my new phone, I guess, I’m not sure what else to talk about since I’m very preoccupied with college stuff because my semester is ending soon and thus, here comes SEMESTER BREAK!

The Amazing Spider Man.REVIEWS AND SPOILERS!

POSTED ON: Saturday, July 14, 2012 @ 11:42 AM | 0 comments

So I watched The Amazing Spider Man yesterday, but sadly and unfornunately, I missed probably the first 30 minutes of the movie no thanks to the movie screening time. But I had to say it was worth watching it.
Here’s the thing about The Amazing Spider Man. It’s actually a reboot from the previous Spider Man movie back in 2002, I was only 10 that time, and it was a major blockbuster hit, until a shocking news saying that Spider Man will be reboot causing the fans a massive outrage, I mean isn’t it too soon to have a reboot Spiderman, it’s not even 10 years.
Fans are having doubts whether this reboot movie of Spider Man will be a successful hit, I mean when you reboot a movie of course there will be and outrage. And in this new Spider Man movie, actor Andrew Garfield is cast as Peter Parker and Emma Stone is cast as Gwen Stacy, Spider Man’s love interest (besides Mary-Jane). Honestly, I was shocked that there will be no Mary Jane in this film, I wonder how are they going to put Peter Parker’s relationship with Gwen Stacy. Something is definitely new here.
And the villain, everyone is excited of the villain in the new Spider Man movie, it’s none other than The Lizard. I know about The Lizard when I read it in the comics in The Star newspaper a few years back. Sol, I don’t have to be blur about that.
The only thing different in this latest SpiderMan movie than the 2002′s is that there’s no Harry Osborn or his father in it, interesting, and the fact that Mary Jane is not the love interest of Peter Parker. Interesting. There’s even a huge shock to this film. THERE’S NO JONAH JAMESON! WHAT A SURPRISE! I mean I never liked that guy anyway. He’s just plain annoying for hating Spider Man. I’m glad the production decided to changed that. The fact also that, the whole Spider man film is mostly set with the characters still in high school and not graduated yet. I like that some how, I don’t have to see the characters growing up even faster to go to college.
I watched both of the trailers of it before the movie came out, and I had to say it was really really awesome, since technology is far more advance, the effects used in the movie can just make your jaw drop. And imagine it in 3D.
Spider Man’s tricks and stunts in the movie are awesome and more action compared to 2002′s, love how Peter Parker’s movements, swift and fast.
Then, of course the romantic chemistry of Peter and Gwen, I can totally see the chemistry between them, it’s real. (It’s no wonder Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone started dating). And I’m starting to love them than the 2002′s movie.
And I also realized that in this movie, scenes of comedy are also used, there are a few funny scenes in between the drama really sparks the audience.
Overall, the movie is worth watching. Entertaining. Better than the 2002′s movie, I had to say HELL YEAH
Now, I can’t wait for the sequel of the film because I know right now, I’m so hooked with this latest reboot film of Spider Man

Long update: Rise of the Guardians

POSTED ON: Tuesday, July 10, 2012 @ 11:41 AM | 0 comments

So, it’s been a while since my last update. Which is a single post from June, well, don’t blame me for not updating my blog, and blame college with their freakishly overloaded assignment thrown on my face. Because of that my time is so very much tight. Not to mention, I got one subject final project needed to be done and it has to do with Flash Animation. I have to do a Flash Animation and now since this Week is already Week 10 of the 2nd semester, I’m already struggling I’m praying to God that I can cope and get over with this subject. Since I got only 4 weeks of this semester left. LET IT BE OVER ALREADY! I can’t take it anymore! Amazingly, I’m still surviving this.
Enough about me and college right now, trust me it’s one thing I would want to avoid and not talk about it. So what should I talk about? What have I been doing lately? (Besides college =.=)
I watched Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter, Madagascar 3 and Brave on my birthday last month, which is on 29th June by the way, with my dear friend Devia. It was seriously worth watching 3 movies in a single day. One is, I mananged to watch the movie I wanted to watch for a while, and two, the movie is so nice and awesome watching.
And then, just recently, this movie got my attention.
It’s another animated movie from the magical studio Dreamworks. This animated movie titled ‘Rise of the Guardians’ (not to be confused with Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Gahoole, trust me, I got confused with that movie as well) is out of the ordinary from those typical mystical characters that children grow up with. Confused? Take the typical Santa Claus, joy and happy ‘ho-ho-ho’ character but with some badass Russian accent and tattoos on both his arms, also adding some traits of badassness along with it. And the Easter Bunny with a Australian accent, and ToothFairy which is half human and half humming bird not just a typical ‘fairy’, huh? And also adding the small, silent Sandman joining forces to defeat the dark, evil Boogeyman.
Not just a typical children’s story right now eh? That’s what I thought as well, but not only the story plot that captures my attention. Once again, Dreamworks Studio which brought the ever so blockbuster hit Shrek, Madagascar, Kung fu Panda, Kung Fu Panda and the unexpected hit How To Train Your Dragon, it’s so obviously, that Dreamworks has found their way to top off in the animation industry plan, I mean as far as I know Dreamworks has evolved a lot since Kung Fu Panda. What you can expect from this movie, of course, it’s the graphics and also the small pieces of particles used in the movie is ever so amazing that looked almost real in the eye.
And then, the 2nd movie trailer of this movie came out, introducing another additional character in the movie, Jack Frost.
So what do you know about Jack Frost from the stories you heard as a kid? Personally, I don’t know much about Jack Frost, but I kinda read and saw that this Christmas character that’s been used almost since forever, is widely known for playing tricks and up to mischief by bringing snow to people often freezing them. From what I heard, Jack Frost isn’t from the bad guy category, he’s just a naughty person.
But in this movie, Jack Frost takes a form of a young teenager, (according from what I read his 14 years old) and EVERY GIRLS are already swooning over his boyish looks already, it’s not helping the fact that Chris Pine is voicing Jack as well. Well, I’ll admit I was swooning over him as well. From the 2nd trailer of Rise of the Guardians, you’ll see the typical mischief Jack Frost, also sarcastic as well, as you noticed that. LOL. Something tells me there’s going to be a backstory on Jack Frost character.
But I can’t help but wonder why Jack Frost isn’t introduced in the first trailer, I mean there should be a reason right? The movie wad announced and the characters were introduced in 2009, which I didn’t come across at all. Anticipated fans of the movie were not happy at all when Jack Frost was not in the 1st trailer. But now the 2nd trailer is out, fans can rejoice!
It seems that Jack Frost is the main protagonist of the movie, a.k.a the main character of the main character in the movie. I mean Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Sandman are also the main character as well.
Now I’m even more pumped up to watch this animated movie (also from the creator’s who did How To Train Your Dragon, expect some movie magic and some epic awesomeness in this movie.
The movie is coming out on November 22nd from the official site I found…. still a long way to go but hey, time flies quickly then you know it right?
