HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
Happy Chinese New Year is here. So it also mean the time of celebrating prosperity and family (trying not to include angpow), also welcoming the year of the horse, hoping that it would give good luck for everyone.
And this time, my aunt and uncle from KL will be coming to celebrate, but they will stay until the 2nd day of CNY to go back to celebrate with the other side of the family.
With the usual chinese tradition food served during reunion dinner, this time, my uncle will be cooking for the whole family and it should be interesting to try his cooking. And he will be cooking Spanish food, seafood style. Interesting.
Not to mention, it's the time to distance myself from assignments and projects for the time being, but I already done as much assignment and project as I can do that when I return back to college won't stress me out to hectically trying to complete it. Especially my Motion Graphic Design first project.
For dinner well surprise, my uncle is cooking for the family, and it's seafood type Spanish food, which I have no idea how to pronounce nor spell it so yeah, but it was good, my uncle is a surprising good cook
I get to try my real first taste of wine, from the two different types of wine, the white wine and the red wine which my mother brought, she brought 2 types of red wine and 1 white wine, and I was like "What the heck?" tries it anyways.
The first red wine was too strong for me to try it out to be honest, I can't swallow it down without feeling the burning sensation down my throat. I got my first try on white wine as well, and I honestly didn't like it at all, it has that weird taste to it so it's a pass.
My little sister though... enjoys sipping the red wine, she keeps taking it over and over and over without even stopping, that really got me surprised to be very honest. While I try not to make myself into a drunk adult I took small and slow sips down my throat.
The second wine which my mother brought wasn't so strong and I like that one in which she brought, the alcohol isn't so strong and I love sipping to it.
Sometimes it's good to have a little wine in your life to get yourself lose. My sister on the other hand, drink after drink after drink I'm not surprised at all that she got herself a little drunk, I mean it's pretty obvious that she can't walk properly.
In short, it's a good Chinese New Year, although a little disappointed of the lack of red packets. (LOL). It's good to spent time with the family.
