The Amazing Spider Man.REVIEWS AND SPOILERS!
So I watched The Amazing Spider Man yesterday, but sadly and unfornunately, I missed probably the first 30 minutes of the movie no thanks to the movie screening time. But I had to say it was worth watching it.
Here’s the thing about The Amazing Spider Man. It’s actually a reboot from the previous Spider Man movie back in 2002, I was only 10 that time, and it was a major blockbuster hit, until a shocking news saying that Spider Man will be reboot causing the fans a massive outrage, I mean isn’t it too soon to have a reboot Spiderman, it’s not even 10 years.
Fans are having doubts whether this reboot movie of Spider Man will be a successful hit, I mean when you reboot a movie of course there will be and outrage. And in this new Spider Man movie, actor Andrew Garfield is cast as Peter Parker and Emma Stone is cast as Gwen Stacy, Spider Man’s love interest (besides Mary-Jane). Honestly, I was shocked that there will be no Mary Jane in this film, I wonder how are they going to put Peter Parker’s relationship with Gwen Stacy. Something is definitely new here.
And the villain, everyone is excited of the villain in the new Spider Man movie, it’s none other than The Lizard. I know about The Lizard when I read it in the comics in The Star newspaper a few years back. Sol, I don’t have to be blur about that.
The only thing different in this latest SpiderMan movie than the 2002′s is that there’s no Harry Osborn or his father in it, interesting, and the fact that Mary Jane is not the love interest of Peter Parker. Interesting. There’s even a huge shock to this film. THERE’S NO JONAH JAMESON! WHAT A SURPRISE! I mean I never liked that guy anyway. He’s just plain annoying for hating Spider Man. I’m glad the production decided to changed that. The fact also that, the whole Spider man film is mostly set with the characters still in high school and not graduated yet. I like that some how, I don’t have to see the characters growing up even faster to go to college.
I watched both of the trailers of it before the movie came out, and I had to say it was really really awesome, since technology is far more advance, the effects used in the movie can just make your jaw drop. And imagine it in 3D.
Spider Man’s tricks and stunts in the movie are awesome and more action compared to 2002′s, love how Peter Parker’s movements, swift and fast.
Then, of course the romantic chemistry of Peter and Gwen, I can totally see the chemistry between them, it’s real. (It’s no wonder Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone started dating). And I’m starting to love them than the 2002′s movie.
And I also realized that in this movie, scenes of comedy are also used, there are a few funny scenes in between the drama really sparks the audience.
Overall, the movie is worth watching. Entertaining. Better than the 2002′s movie, I had to say HELL YEAH
Now, I can’t wait for the sequel of the film because I know right now, I’m so hooked with this latest reboot film of Spider Man
