Fallen by Lauren Kate

ALLELUIA!!!
ALLELUIA!!!

Those were my reaction when I finally got Fallen in my hands from Mel. Well, it's actually Devia's book. I've been aiming for this book since when I first laid eyes on the reviews which was months ago. And this book was popping on and off the newspapers in NIE.

My first impression about the book, well, when I read the reviews it's definitely a love story. And I thought it would be a vampire love story. But I was wrong. Fallen isn't a vampire forbidden love story, it's actually an angel forbidden love story. That's for a change.

So what's the story about?

Luce Price, real name Lucinda. But I prefer Lucy it sounds nicer goes to a new school and spots a guy named Daniel Grigori. Who she thinks that she was him before, somewhere? The problem is that Daniel is not just a gorgeous looking guy that already took her attention. He's very secretive and mysterious around her. And she's determined to find out why.
His gaze caught hers, and Luce watched as his eyes widened and then quickly narrowed in what looked like surprise. But no-it was more than that. When Daniel eyes held hers, her breath caught in her throat. She was orgized him from somewhere.
But she would have remembered meeting someone like him. She would have remembered feeling as absolutely shaken up as she did right now.
She realized they were still locking eyes when Daniel flashed her a smile. A jet of warmth shot through her and she had to grip the bench for support. She felt her pull up in a smile back at him, but then he raised his hand in the air.

An excerpt of when Luce saw Daniel the first time. Quite fascinating, don't you think?

Like all love story this one has a love triangle too, it's between Daniel-Luce-Cam. It's like your average Edward-Bella-Jacob and Stephan-Elena-Damon from both the vampire hit novels but Fallen involves angels, fallen angels
Fallen is a huge hit. Main great reviews if you looked at the front page and at the inside of the book. Some even say it's better than Twilight. Well we just have to see when it becomes a movie then.
The final thing I want to say is. This book is a total must have!
